Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association (EFMHA)
EFMHA is a division of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) that sets standards for mental health and equine professionals and services. Through the NARHA homepage, you can find accredited NARHA centers and instructors in the United States and Canada, access information on how to donate to or volunteer with a program, and register for professional education and certification workshops, courses, and conferences. NARHA members can also explore a library of EFP-related articles and research.

The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA)
EAGALA’s site presents a wealth of information for mental health and equine professionals on starting and growing a program, from certification and insurance to continuing education and conferences. EAGALA also hosts an open online forum for discussing up-to-the-minute issues in the field.
